Beit Halochem West Coast, in partnership with the nonprofit Maman, will be hosting brave wounded soldiers and security forces from the “Iron Swords” war in Southern California from June 16th – 24th.
These speakers offer a unique opportunity for your community to gain insight into the current situation in Israel and the challenges faced by our disabled veterans in their rehabilitation process.
Our speakers need a venue in which to share their stories. If you, your organization or your community would be willing to open your doors to allow our speakers, please contact us!
Born in 1945, Micha Koubi served in the British Army and the Hagana’s intelligence service, SHAI, which later became the foundation of Israel’s Shin Bet.
Micha served in the IDF’s elite Sayeret Matkal unit, earning the Medal of Distinguished Service for his bravery.
After sustaining injuries, he joined the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization and later continued his work in the Shin Bet, notably profiling Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, which proved crucial in subsequent security operations. Before retiring, Micha led intelligence operations across southern Israel, including the Gaza Strip, Negev Desert, and Sinai Peninsula.
Micha is one of the inspiring speakers you could host at your venue.
